On the 10th of June, I went to Sentosa with Rere and Fredric. Our main destination is the Luge ride at Sentosa. Songs of the Sea was also showing during that month.

We took photo in front of the sky ride as we waited in the queue..Fred was so eager to start riding.. He has no mood to take pic actually.. but well.. he has to follow what his Cece said whether he likes it or not... hihihihi

This is our Luge and Skyride pass..Do you know how luge looks like?

It's something like a go cart but without any engines.. Perhaps, it also look like a snow board except that we are sliding on the road track. The track is sloping down and winding such that we have to manuever the steer skillfully if we do not want to crash on the turning. Along the track, you will also see some obstacles where we have to drive the luge in a zig zag manner at full speed..

The luge has no engine. The steer, when we pull it towards our body, will release the break, and the luge will start to slide down. if we want to stop it, we release the steer slowly by pushing it towards the original position. Here is how it looks like:

This is the sky ride. After we reached the bottom of the luge, we go uphill again by taking the skyride..great view from up there.. great moments also when you are with somebody you love..:)

from 13 to 16 July 2007, I went to Bali with Rere's family..Here we are at UBUD...we stopped by at a restaurant which is located in the middly of a sawah.. Our target is to have nice Bali food with scenic Bali view. very nice .. do you know what's the restaurant's speciality?

Tada.... This is called BEBEK BENGIL or DIRTY DUCK.. well, when you eat it.. it s not dirty la.. dun worrie..can you see the size of the dug? it's HUGE! 1 portion is half of the duck..

This is also good. I forgot the name. I think it's nasi timbel. The satay has interesting flavour

Shiella ate the most.. She ate a lot! hahaha..look at her expression... I think the food is full till her throat level already...

This was at Jimbaran..  A restaurant by the sea side.. All of us sat at that side because in front of us was the great beach and sea view.. So relaxing to eat by the beach and drank coconut

On the last day, we went to Nusa Dua beach to play the water games. We selected 3 games. Banana boat, Jet ski and Parasailing.

At first we took the banana boat.. this boat was pulled by a motor boat in front. Right in front was fredric, followed by Shiella, me and Rere...The instructor sat right in front. The motor boat speed up, carrying us behind.. sea wind stroke my face, salty sea water splashed my face. Then in the middle of the sea, suddenly the motor boat took a very sharp turn, purposely.. and there we go... thrown into the sea..shrieking.. Giggling,.. Gasping for breath..  Jubilant..  Such a great first time experience!

The second game was jet ski. Each of us must be accompanied by one instructor. I press the gas at full speed.. flying when we hit the wave.. whoo hoooo....very far.. still speeding even though the instructor asked me to go back to the shore.. hhahahaaaha.. I dun care... hahaaha.. then I steer it to the left and right sharply until the jetski almost sunk into the sea.

You see how the instructor was so eager to get down the jet ski.. ! Look at his expression!! and look at mine.. hahahahhaa.

 

 

That's me.. up there in the sky.. parasailing. the parachutte was pulled by the motor boat below. It was a great feeling when my feet first left the ground and i started to float.

 

Shiella at landing position.. greeted by the mas mas with brown arms and hands.. You see that we are suppose to wear 2 different colour gloves. Black and red. When we are about to land, the instructor from down there would carry 2 flags.. red and black.. when he raised up the red flag we pulled  our left hand.. and same with the black one.

Summing up.. the Bali trip was FUN FUN FUN!!!

 

 

 

 

It's been 22 weeks since I first stepped my foot at NESTLE on the 8th of January.. A memorable experience indeed,... These are some memories taken on the last day of my industrial attachment. Pictures of SPECIAL people that have engraved more happy stpries  in my life book.

Sitting below are Wai Chinn and Daniel, my dearest supervisors in molecular contaminat lab. Standing beside me is Margaret Irma, my dearsest sister, also from Indonesia, Semarang. I gave them those flowers on my last day of IA as a token of gratification:D Thank you ALL

With Wai Chinn and Margaret in the new GC lab. During my attachment in Nestle, the company was under construction. So, we have to bear the irritating noise from the machinery and be extra careful when transporting solvent from one lab to another lab through the corridor where the construction workers were doing welding. I prefer to stay inside my small lab as much as possible.

With Daniel at Henri Nestle room. This is the place where we have our tea breaks. Tea breaks time are at 9 30 am  and around 3 30 pm. Lunch time is from 12 to 1. I usually cook my own food and eat together with Bei Tian, Pris, Thanh and other colleagues at this area also. The pic beside it show me with margaret in action at Siew Moi's lab. Of course the photo were taken when she s not around.. otherwise, my head will be displaced from my body already.

After work, Daniel, Wai Chinn, and Margaret treated me dinner at VIVO city. At first we wanted to eat at Garuda , Indonesian food restaurant. But the restaurant was gonna be closed for some special event. So, we decided to eat Kim Gary Hongkong Restaurant. MY FAVOURITE restaurant. I have eaten there 3 times this month..:D

Steak in a hot plate, Beef baked rice with cheese and twin sauce, Pork baked rice swimming in cheese and twin sauce, and lastly, *not in the pic, Super Spicy Ramen. Guess which food belong to whose.. Based on WC, DT, MIA, and SA personality, who will eat what.. GUESS!

I ended up eating the pork baked rice.. kukukukuuu.. doesn't mean that I am a PIG ok,,,

Even Margaret was over-excited and insisted to go up the cow once she saw the cow. Daniel took the chance to help Margaret went down the cow. hehehehe..
